An Irish R&D start-up inventing open-source technologies for the AI/HPC datacenter.
PacketFive is a Research & Development start-up working at the intersection of AI infrastructure, high-performance computing and networking. Our motto is to develop novel technologies that shape the future of AI/HPC, and to make them openly available, so the entire industry can build, learn and innovate faster.
We focus on three complementary programmes. HiCAIN, our academic courses & training programme that builds the skills modern AI clusters demand. Cnuas, a 100% software-emulated AI/HPC datacenter that lets anyone experiment with the full stack of GPUs, fabrics, NICs and switches, without a million-dollar lab. And TORUS, which secures the physical facilities those clusters live in.
Core technology, training material and reference implementations are open-source first. Open accelerates the entire industry.
Our engineering culture is rooted in academic rigour. We publish our work, engage with the research community, and build on proven science.
We collaborate with educators, HPC practitioners and AI infrastructure teams, and contribute back to upstream Linux, RDMA, and HPC communities.
